Man fights for life after serious assault in Dublin city centre

A man in his 30s is in a critical condition in hospital this morning following a serious assault in Dublin last night.

It happened at Aston Quay at 9.30pm.

The man was taken to St James's Hospital where he is being treated for head injuries.

No arrests have been made.

Gardaí at Pearse St are investigating.
