A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of Twink's dog.

Teddy, a rescue dog, is one of nine rescue dogs adopted by the Agnew family.

The Herald reports the canine was recovered from a house following a tip-off from the public.

Gardaí arrested a man yesterday in connection with the theft. He is being held at Rathfarnham garda station in Dublin.

UPDATE (9am): The man has now been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
