Council to ban cars permanently from Dollymount Strand

A permanent ban on cars at Dollymount Strand in Dublin is to be put in place.

Last June, Dublin City Council erected barriers at the Wooden Bridge and Causeway Road entrances to stop motorists from driving on to the sand.
