Investigation launched into fatal accident on Clare farm

An investigation has been launched into a farm accident which claimed the life of a man in Co Clare.

Gardaí and the HSA are examining the circumstances surrounding the death of TJ McDonagh from Liscannor, who died last night after a wheel he had been fitting on a vehicle exploded.

He suffered head injuries and was later pronounced dead at Galway University Hospital.
