Elderly woman in hospital after crash on motorway in Cork
There has been a crash in on the main Cork to Dublin road in Co Cork.
A man has died in the crash.

An elderly man and woman were injured in the crash and the woman has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital.
It happened just before 3pm this afternoon on the northbound lane of the M8 near the junction 14 turn-off for Fermoy.
The motorway was closed in both directions from there up to junction 13, but the southbound lane has since reopened.
Gardaí have put diversions in place and the emergency services are at the scene.
