Adoption law conference to be held in UCC

A major International conference on adoption law and practice will take place in Cork next month.

Philomena Lee will be among those attending the UCC conference on September 4 and 5.

The conference is hoping to highlight revisions in adoption law in light of changing cultural contexts and differing family structures, with the focus on children's rights.

A number of international experts including Susan Lohan of the Adoption Rights Alliance will speak at the two-day event.
