Google's Chromecast now available in Ireland

Google has announced that Chromecast, a new device that makes it easy to enjoy online video and music on any HD TV, is now officially available in Ireland.

The Chromecast device, which plugs into any television with an HDMI port, can be controlled via a user's existing smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Chromecast costs just €35 and is available from the Google Play store.

Chromecast is now available in 19 countries, including Ireland.
