Sex offender businessman settled with victim for almost €200,000, court hears

A court has heard today that sex offender Anthony Lyons made an almost €200,000 settlement with the woman he violently attacked on a Dublin street.

The 53-year-old businessman from Griffith Avenue in Dublin is due to find out later this month whether his six-month custodial sentence will be increased by the Court of Criminal Appeal.
