A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a taxi man in Dublin.

The 32-year-old cab driver was attacked in the early hours of yesterday morning in at the Charlston Road/Oakley Road junction in Ranelagh, Dublin, when he tried to help a young woman who he believed had been beaten up.
