€22m judgement secured against Anthony O'Reilly

One-time billionaire Anthony O’Reilly has had judgment for €22m entered against him at the Commercial Court.

The court was told the former CEO of Independent News and Media has other debts in the region of €195m.

Mr O'Reilly did not dispute owing the money to AIB, but asked for a six-month stay to allow for the sale of his unsecured assets in order to pay his creditors.
