Gardaí seize cocaine and bullets during search of car

Gardaí have seized €50,000 worth of cocaine and some ammunition in Co Louth.

The drugs and ammunition, a small quantity of 9mm bullets, was found during the search of a car at Donore Rd, Drogheda, at around 6pm yesterday evening.

A man in his early 40's was arrested at the scene and is currently being held under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Drogheda Garda Station.
