Gardaí investigating Dublin carjacking find victim's car; woman stable

Gardaí have found the car that was hijacked from a Dublin woman, leaving her seriously injured.

The woman in her 50s was assaulted during the carjacking yesterday afternoon, while she was driving into her apartment complex at Argyle House on Serpentine Avenue in Ballsbridge.

Gardai in Irishtown said they found the Grey Ford Focus car, registration number 03 D 55722, in the Kevin Street area of Dublin.

The injured woman remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Gardaí are still looking for two people who were involved, believed to be a man and a woman.
