Two held following Cork drug seizure

Two people have been arrested in Cork city following the seizure of cocaine with an estimated street value of €40,000.

A man and a woman in their 50s were arrested following the search of a house in the Fairhill area of the ciity.

The seizure was made by the Gurranabraher Divisional drug squad.

The man and woman are being held at Mayfield Garda Station.
