Dublin City Council backs Fire Brigade in ambulance row

Dublin City Council has backed a motion supporting Dublin Fire Bridage in retaining the city Ambulance service.
The motion also called on the HSE to provide greater funding.
The HSE plans to remove the delivery of Dublin's ambulance service from the fire brigade, by 2015.
Two seperate reviews are to be carried out before a final decision is made, which may not be until September.
Dublin City Councillor Mary Fitzpatrick said the HSE should allow to the service to continue as it is, but with greater funding supports.
