Emergency crews to protest HSE plan to take over ambulance service

A protest will take place later over plans to remove ambulance services from Dublin Fire Brigade.

A HSE review is underway with proposals to take over the service in Dublin.

Fire and ambulance crews will take to the streets at 5pm and march from Tara Street to Liberty Hall.

Dublin City Councillor Mary Fitzpatrick says the move is worrying.
