Eircom aiming to connect 500 customers two months after storm

Five hundred Eircom customers are still without phone services after a massive storm nearly two months ago.

140,000 faults were recorded on the company's network in the aftermath of Storm Darwin on February 12.

Crews are still working to repair problems in parts of Kerry, Limerick, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford.

It is hoped customers will be re-connected by the end of this week.
