First of four councils to decide on Dublin mayoral election

The first of four council votes on whether to give Dubliners the choice of having a directly elected mayor takes place tonight.

Dublin city councillors will have their say this evening, while the other three votes in Fingal, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown and South Dublin all take place in a week's time.
