Margaretta D'Arcy released from Mountjoy

Anti-war protestor Margaretta D'Arcy has been released from Mountjoy prison three weeks earlier than expected.

The 79-year-old was jailed for three months on January 15 over her refusal to sign a bond to stay out of unauthorised areas of Shannon Airport.

Eugene McCartan thr secretary of the ‘Free Margaretta D'Arcy’ coalition has said she is still refusing to sign any bonds and will continue the fight.
