8,500 without power in Co Cork

More than 8,500 people are without power in Co Cork this evening.

A fault developed in the ESB network at Curraleigh at 11.20pm Monday evening.

According to the network's estimates, approximately 8,564 customers have been affected.

The network estimates that power supply will be restored in the early hours of the morning.
