Dwyer fails to secure bail in wait for Elaine O'Hara murder trial

The man accused of murdering childcare worker Elaine O'Hara in Dublin has failed in his latest attempt to secure bail.

Graham Dwyer of Kerrymount Close in Foxrock applied for bail because of the long wait in custody before his trial is due to begin in April 2015.

However, his application was refused following a lengthy hearing before Mr Justice Paul Carney today.

Elaine O'Hara had been missing for over a year when her remains were found by a walker in the Dublin Mountains last September.
