Varadkar: I've done what I can to prevent next week's airport strike

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar has rejected Fianna Fáil claims that he is dragging his heels in preventing a strike at airports next Friday.

SIPTU staff at Aer Lingus and Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports plan to walk off the job for four hours over the deficit in the pension fund.
