Gilligan expected to recover after being shot at family christening

Convicted drug dealer John Gilligan remains in a "serious but stable condition" in hospital today after being shot in West Dublin last night.

It is believed he was shot a number of times at his brother's house in Greensfort Crescent in Clondalkin at around 7pm yesterday evening while attending a family gathering.
