30 evacuated due to Baldoyle gas-main blaze; Four in hospital after Clondalkin fire

Thirty people had to be evacuated from their homes in Baldoyle while four people were hospitalised after a fire in Clondalkin overnight.

The first incident took place at around 2am when a blaze broke out at a house in Monksfield Grove in Clondalkin.
