Gardaí appeal for witnesses to shooting in Dublin

A man has been injured in a shooting in west Dublin.

The gun attack happened last night in Lucan and 46-year-old man is in a serious condition in Blanchardstown Hospital.

It happened in the Abbeywood Court area of Lucan shortly before 10.30pm.

Gardaí have launched an investigation and are looking to speak to anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area, either before or after the gun attack.

They are also looking for witnesses who may have seen a car leaving the scene.
