The National Emergency Coordination Centre is warning of a further risk of flooding this weekend.

Heavy rainfall is expected this evening and into Saturday which could force rivers to burst their banks.

The Shannon, Barrow, Nore and Slaney are reported to be at very high levels.

Met Eireann has issued a yellow wind warning for today for eastern coastal counties, as well as Cork and Kerry.
