A 14-year-old school boy has died in hospital this evening from injuries sustained during a freak accident last Saturday.

A 14-year-old school boy has died in hospital this evening from injuries sustained during a freak accident last Saturday.

Leon Connon collapsed while out with friends, after becoming trapped in railings near his home in Kinsale in Co Cork.
