Trial begins in murder of man whose body was hidden in wardrobe

A man has gone on trial accused of murdering a 53-year-old man at his Dublin home in September 2012.

A man has gone on trial accused of murdering a man whose body was allegedly found wrapped up and concealed in the wardrobe of a Dublin flat.

Anthony Locke with an address at Ramillies road, Ballyfermot, denies killing Christopher Jackson at his home in Prussia Street in September 2012.

The Central Criminal Court has heard there will be evidence the 53-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds.

The jury’s been told Anthony Locke’s brother, Bernard Locke, who was staying at Prussia Street at the time, pleaded guilty to the murder this morning.
