Man charged with Lixnaw murder further remanded until Dec 18

A man accused of murdering his mother in Lixnaw in Co. Kerry has been further remanded to appear at Listowel District Court on December 18.

Patrick Dunne is accused of murdering his mother Susan Dunne at their home last week.

Judge Tim Lucey was today furnished with a letter from the Director of the Central Mental Hospital explaining that Mr Dunne was in receipt of psychiatric treatment as an inpatient at the facility.
