Man due in court charged with Kerry murder

A 19-year-old man is due to appear in court in Kerry this morning charged with the murder of Susan Dunne.

Ms Dunne, who was in her 50s, was found dead at her home in Lixnaw near Listowel on Wednesday morning.

A post mortem revealed she had suffered a "violent death".

A 19-year-old was arrested shortly after her body was discovered.

He is due to appear at a special sitting of Killarney District Court at 10.30am this morning.
