Young man killed in Dublin road accident

A 22-year-old man has become the latest fatality on the country's roads.
He was a passenger in a car which collided with a tree on the R130 Baldwinstown to Garristown Road at around 9.35pm last night.
He was pronounced dead at scene and removed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, where a post mortem will take place later.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact Balbriggan Garda station.
