Remains of Fr Reid to lie in repose in Dublin

The remains of Fr. Alec Reid, an influential figure in the Northern Ireland peace process, will be lie in repose this afternoon at Marianella Chapel on Orwell Road, in Dublin.
The 82 year old died yesterday at St Vincent's Hospital.
He was instrumental in setting up the first meetings between the SDLP's John Hume and Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams - which eventually lead to the Good Friday Agreement.
His body will repose at Marianella Chapel from 2 o'clock until 8pm this evening, and again tomorrow from 1pm to 8pm.
His funeral mass will take place at Clonard Church in Belfast next Wednesday.
