Organisers behind the Twist soup kitchens across Ireland are hoping to send non perishable foods and essential supplies to the Philippines after Typhoon Hiyan devastated parts of the country.

The organisation which provides free food to those in need across Galway, Loughrea, Athlone, Sligo, Roscommon and Tuam are hoping to locate a container to ship goods to the Philippines.
