Elderly woman victim of aggravated burglary at her home

An elderly woman was the victim of an aggravated burglary at her home Clonmore, Edenderry at approximately 7.15pm last night.

A lone male entered the house of the woman, aged in her 80s, threatened and demanded money.

He appeared unarmed. She was uninjured and was treated at her home.

Gardaí in Edenderry are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen activity in the area of Clonmore yesterday evening between 6-9pm to contact them on 046 - 9731290, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
