Woman questioned over death of 20-year-old mother at party
Gardaí are continuing to question a woman in her 20s in connection with the death of a mother of one in Blanchardstown in Dublin.
20-year-old Bridget Bernadette Cash was found dead in a house in Warrenstown Walk yesterday morning with head injuries.
It is understood she may have been the victim of an assault following a party at the house the night before.
Gardaí believe those present at the party fled the scene instead of contacting the emergency services.
Cash was found at 10.40am the next morning lying face-down on her living-room floor.
The victim’s mother, also called Brigid, is a tenant in the rented semi-detached house but was not home at the time and her grandmother was caring for her son.
