French man killed in Halloween night hit-and-run in Cork

Gardaí in Cork are investigating after a 25-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run.

Gardaí in Cork have begun an investigation after a 25-year-old French man was fatally injured in a hit and run incident in the city centre last night.

The young man was struck by a white Transit van that didn't stop as he was walking on George's Quay in the south inner city at around 9.30pm.
