Department of Social Protection admits sending Irish jobseekers letters about Canada jobs

The Department of Social Protection has confirmed that it is sending letters to jobseekers with offers of work in Canada.

However, they say the letters are "for information" only, and that there is no obligation on recipients to apply for the vacancy.
