Man seriously injured in west Cork crash
A man has been seriously injured in a single-car collision in Bantry, Co Cork in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at Bridget St in the town shortly after 4am.
A male aged in his early 30s was seriously injured and taken to Bantry General Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The road has reopened to traffic following a forensic examination of the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who were in the Bridge St. area of Bantry between 3.30am and 5am this morning to contact them.
