FF: Govt 'in denial' over medical cards

Fianna Fáil has said the Government is "in denial" about changing the discretionary medical card scheme.
The Coalition is targeting 113 million euro in savings from "improving the accuracy" of the scheme - but they say they don't know how many people will lose their cards.
Fianna Fáil's Health Spokesperson Billy Kelleher said the Government is being "disingenous" in how it presented the cuts.
Mr Kelleher said the Government should admit there's been a fundamental change in medical card policy which he said will affect thousands of seriously ill people.
