Man, 34, in hospital after hit-and-run in Dublin

A 34-year-old man's in a critical condition in The Mater Hospital in Dublin following a hit-and-run.

It happened on Trinity Lane at the back of Clonliffe Road on the city's Northside at 1pm.

The car believed to have been involved was later found burnt out on Stoney Road in East Wall.
