Distressed property auction makes €11.2m in sales

The latest Allsop Space auction, held today, saw 93 properties sold for around €11.2m.

Nine properties were withdrawn prior to auction.

Hilamar Hotel, Kinnegad, a 46-bedroom hotel which was formally known for many years as "Harry’s of Kinnegad" sold for €695,000, more than double its reserve.

Phoenix Hill, a four-bedroom Georgian house with two derelict houses on one acre beside the Phoenix Park in Dublin sold for €580,000. The reserve was €350,000.

Some 850 people attended today’s auction.
