Gardaí appeal for help to find missing woman and son

Gardaí in Co Westmeath are appealing for help in finding a missing woman and her son.

57-year-old Carmel Williams and her 18-year-old son Alexander went missing from their home in Ashfield on the Ashe Road in Mullingar on September 14th.

Carmel is 4ft 9 in height, of stocky build with black shoulder length hair - when last seen, she was wearing a black coat with a red t-shirt and black tracksuit bottoms.

Alexander is 5ft 1, of slight build, with short brown hair - he was wearing a dark brown hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and navy coloured shoes.
