Death in Cork caused by street fight, Gardaí believe

Investigators have confirmed they are now treating as suspicious the death of a man in Cork on Thursday night.

Gardaí in Cork are appealing for witnesses to a fight in the city, which they believe led to the death of a Dublin man.

The 36-year-old, originally from Carpenterstown, was found unconscious on Patrick's Quay on Thursday, and died in hospital yesterday morning.
