Emergency services attend Kildare motorway crash

At least one person has been injured in a serious road crash in Co Kildare this morning.

Emergency services are at the scene of the two-car collision, which happened on the Dublin to Limerick motorway at Junction 12 Newbridge earlier this morning.

The injured person is being treated at the scene of the accident.

Gardaí have closed the road and diversions are in place.
