Three arrested in €650k heroin seizure

Three men have been arrested and €650,000 worth of heroin has been seized in Dublin.

The men, who are in their 30s, were stopped and searched on the Crumlin Road at around 6.30pm yesterday evening, when a quantity of heroin was discovered.

During a follow up search of an apartment in West Park, Rathcoole, a large amount of heroin was found, along with various drug paraphernalia.

The arrests come as part of an intelligence-led investigation into sale of drugs in the South Central area of Dublin - the three men are being held at Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda Stations.
