A man and a woman in their 20s have been killed in a road accident in Co Kerry today.

A man and a woman in their 20s have been killed in a road accident in Co Kerry today.

The incident happened just after 2pm this afternoon on the Ballinskelligs/Ring of Kerry road at Barry's Cross.

The car the pair were driving in and a truck were in collision.

The bodies remain at the scene and the road is closed pending a full technical examination.
