Family and friends anxious about Fair City actor missing in Dublin
Family and friends of missing actor Gerry McCann have said they are increasingly concerned for his safety.
The 47-year-old was last seen in Stillorgan in Dublin last Thursday morning.
He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, of medium build with greyish-blonde hair, and he was wearing a charcoal grey jumper, brown trousers and brown shoes.
Mr McCann has worked on several TV and film productions, including Fair City, such as the Irish feature film 'Life's a Breeze' along with co-star Pat Shortt.
His wife Andrea said: "We know his phone has been on since 11 that day and it was pinned to a mast in Ballsbridge, so that's the last I heard from him.
"It would be very unusual, because we would talk or text several times a day when we are not together, so by Friday I was told it was more serious because Gerry would be very much a family man.
"He hasn't been on his email, we've checked all of that, he hasn't done anything with his bank account, he doesn't have his wallet with him, so he has no access to money."
She says her last contact with him was a text just before 10am on Thursday morning.
