President to unveil memorial in Dublin to people lost at sea
A memorial to people who lost their lives at sea off the north Dublin coast is being unveiled by President Michael D Higgins.
The memorial, a totem pole, was previously used by the Coastguard as a viewing platform.
It fell into disrepair, but has been redesigned and installed on Red Island in Skerries.
The memorial carries the names of 267 people and ships lost at sea.
