More than 30,000 remember Jill Meagher in Australian march
In Australia, in remembrance of Irishwoman Jill Meagher more than 30,000 people have marched past the place where she was abducted last year.
Jill was raped and killed as she walked home from a bar along Sydney Road, Brunswick, in Melbourne last September.
Adrian Bayley has been sentenced to a life in prison for the crimes, losing an appeal against a minimum 35-year term last week.
The participants of the march described it as an act of "peaceful defiance".
