MEP to host Cyberbullying conference in Limerick

Ways to tackle on-line bullying will be discussed during a special forum in Limerick later today.

The cyber-bullying conference - which is hosted by MEP Sean Kelly - will see industry experts and representatives from Facebook in attendance.

It aims to look at the best possible ways to make the internet safer for children.

The co-founder of nobullying, Ciaran Connolly said that parents need to have a greater knowledge of their kids online behaviour.

"They could be sitting on the couch beside their parents and we need to know what sites they are on or who they are talking to," he said.

"Because sometimes it might not be the safest place to be."
