Two Michelin-star restaurants for Kilkenny in 2014 guide

Nine Irish restaurants are to be featured in the Michelin Guide for 2014.

Two Kilkenny restaurants have been awarded stars, Campagne in Kilkenny City and and the Lady Helen at the Mount Juliet Hotel in Thomastown.

They join the following in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2014:

— The House Restaurant at the Cliff House Hotel, Ardmore, Co Waterford

— Aniar Restaurant at Lower Dominic Street in Galway

— Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, Dublin

— Thorntons at the Fitzwilliam Hotel, Dublin

— Chapter One, Dublin

— L'Ecrivain, Dublin

— Bon Appetit, Dublin

The guide is available from October 4.
